Drifting down the Thames, relaxing and drinking gin… what could be better?
Add a hot tub.
That’s right. You can spend your evening in a fire-heated hot tub drifting through the canals in Canary Wharf with a group of friends drinking the beverage of your choice.
The HotTug offers hot tub rentals in the canal near Angel/Old Street and in West India Quay/Canary Wharf. I have been on many boat rides down the canal but this, I must say, was the most fun.
The freshwater hot tub is heated to 38°C and is terrifically relaxing. It is an extra element of fun to be in your bathing suit drifting down the water in the Canary Wharf business district watching the confused, suited pedestrians stop and stare and how amazing you are.
The HotTug is an electric, self-driven vehicle and is easy to maneuver. The day we were set to go, it started raining and I was worried the bad weather would ruin the trip. I was wrong. You actually WANT bad weather for this event as the cool evening breeze keeps you the perfect temperature when soaking.
This would be a fantastic event for a birthday party or a hen do. Highly recommend.
Huge thanks to LovePopUpsLondon.com and HotTug for the experience!
