Riding Down the London Canal on a GoBoat

by Regina Kenney

Want a relaxing afternoon drifting down water while eating and drinking delicious things? Grab a baguette, cheese and a bottle of wine and head to down to Merchant Square to book a  GoBoat.

GoBoat rents out small boats (that you drive yourself) that seat up to 8 people. The GoBoats commence the canal adventure at Merchant Square, Paddington, London W2 1JZ.

There are two options for the route you can go: East (towards Camden – bonus of this is it goes to the zoo) or West.

Because it was a heavy traffic day, we took the West route, which had low traffic and extremely leisurely. Here is a hyperlapse of part of the trip:

The GoBoat experience on the London canal was phenomenal. We all got picnic supplies and beverages (including our sponsored drink Nix & Kix – that sells refreshing drinks with unique flavor blends) and hopped aboard for an hour to float down the canal. It was one of the most relaxing Saturdays I’ve had in a long time,

1hr = £65

2hr = £95

3hr = £125

4hr = £155

5hr = £185

6hr = £210
